Reason for joining the Home Builders Association

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

Builder Member - $675.00 - Shall be open to any person, firm, or corporation that is in the business of building or rebuilding homes, apartments, schools, commercial, industrial, or other structures normally related to a community or in land development or derives a significant amount of their income from building or remodeling; who resides within the territorial jurisdiction of this Association; subscribes to the Code of Ethics, Purposes and Bylaws of this Association and meets with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Associate Member - $675.00 - Shall be open to any person, firm or corporation engaged in a trade, industry or profession related to building and not inconsistent with the objectives of this Association; who resides within the territorial jurisdiction of this Association; subscribes to the Code of Ethics, Purposes and Bylaws of this Association, and meets with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Affiliate Member - $55.00 per year based on the anniversary. For employees of current Builder or Associate For employees of current Builder or Associate Members for the sole purpose of receiving local and national mailings. These members will be listed in the local directory and receive the online version of Building News.

Remodeler Council - $50.00 If you are a remodeling contractor or profession related to the remodeling industry and want to be on the Remodeler’s Council join in this classification and add $99.00 for Remodeler’s Council. You must be a Builder or Associate Member to join in this classification.

Young Builders Council – (YBC) If you are new to the industry and want to learn more about how to utilize your membership to its fullest, you might want to join this group who will help you with navigating through the ranks of membership. YBC join this classification and add $50.00 for YBC Dues. You must be a Builder or Associate to join this classification.

High Performance Green Council – Green is the new rage for the building industry, keeping up with all the new products and ideas can be a challenge, this group will provide you with the necessary tools needed and educate you about changes. Join this council for $50.00 in addition to your Main Membership.

In making this application, I agree to abide by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association and its Code of Ethics and discharge my obligations promptly. I also understand my affiliation includes membership in the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, Home Builders Association of Illinois and the National Association of Home Builders of the United States, the dues of which are paid by the local association. In the event my membership is terminated, I agree to the immediate discontinuance of the use of any insignia in connection with my business.

 We pledge our support to our associates, our local, state and national association and all related industries concerned with the preservation of legitimate rights and freedoms.

 We assume these responsibilities freely and solemnly, mindful that they are part of our obligation as members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago.
