HBAGC Executive Officer Announcement

Dear HBAGC Member:

As many of you know, the Executive Search Committee has been working diligently over the last several months interviewing candidates for the Executive Officer position.  After narrowing an initial group of 55 candidates down to our top-tier, the Executive Committee gave its approval at a meeting last week to hire Mike Kelly as our new EO.  HBAGC has now entered into a formal agreement with Mike and he will be officially starting on January 5, 2009.

Mike comes to us from Hackettstown, NJ where he most recently served as CEO of the National Kitchen & Bath Association.  Mike will be in Chicago this week to attend our Executive and Regional Board of Directors/Annual Members' meeting on Wednesday, November 19th at Chicago Indoor Racing (2381 W. Army Trail Road).  All members are invited to attend this annual meeting and I encourage all of you to come by and meet Mike.

The Senior Officers and the entire HBAGC staff are committed to meeting the needs of our members and are planning into 2009 with a fresh perspective and a renewed focus.  Thank you all for your continued support.
