Last Monday I had the emotional task of informing our staff that I will soon be leaving HBAGC to assume a new position as President and CEO of a national association headquartered in the East. I now find myself with the same emotional task as I notice you, the HBAGC members of this decision.
I have served HBAGC as its CEO for over seven years. It has been a wonderful experience and I have been blessed to make so many lasting friendships and participate in some great years of industry growth and success. I will never forget HBAGC, its members, staff, and leadership for the warmth, commitment, and kindness that has been bestowed upon me and my family during my tenure. I wish HBAGC and all of its members nothing but the very best for success in the future.
Currently, HBAGC has a most competent professional staff and a very dedicated leadership structure. President Alan Lev and the other Senior Officers are working tirelessly on behalf of the association and have already formed a Search Committee to facilitate the process of hiring a new CEO for the association. I am confident that their efforts will result in the retention of an executive who will continue the work that I and my predecessors began, and that HBAGC will move forward in its commitment to provide all members within our industry with excellence in service, programming, and benefits.
Thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do in support of HBAGC and for providing our leadership and staff with your continued assistance during this period of transition.
The YBC Golf Outing will be held on May 20th at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club. View more information on the first outing of the year! See you on the green.
