Association President Alan D. Lev’s theme at the Inaugural Ball on January 19th was “Embrace Change.” This is not only a theme for our annual gala, but a theme that will carry out into the year. In this challenging market, like our members, HBAGC is taking a very close look at how we do business and making the appropriate changes so that we can provide the highest quality of service and value for our members. This will include everything from refocusing on leadership development and succession and other key areas of operation, to the way we run meetings and the number of meetings we have. Change is not always easy but is sometimes necessary. Over the course of the year, as always, we invite you to be a part of this process and help shape our organization. If you have any feedback that you would like to share with me, feel free to email me at peters@hbagc.com. Have a great week!
The Sales & Marketing Council is hosting a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) Course February 5th - 7th. Participants will gain a broad understanding of the home building business, discuss consumer psychology and learn the advanced techniques used by real estate veterans for greeting, closing and overcoming objections. View more information and register here.
