Illinois Home Builders PEC Fundraiser May 3rd

Dear HBAGC Member:

The Illinois Home Builders Political Education Committee will host a fundraiser on Thursday, May 3^rd.  The reception will be held at Gibson’s in Rosemont from 3 to 5 p.m. and is sponsored by First American Title Insurance Co.

It is a very important time for our industry, in many ways.  The General Assembly is poised to pass some of the most devastating legislation that will directly impact you and your business.  Issues on the table this year include trade and contractor licensure, energy efficiency code, an increase in state transfer tax, employee classification and perhaps most importantly, the Governor’s proposed Gross Receipt and Payroll Tax.
