Roosevelt University Homebuilders Forum

Green Building Seminar 

The Home Builders Assn. of Greater Fox Valley invites you to join them for a Green Building Seminar “Building Green Can Make You Green” on Wednesday, April 25th from 8 am to noon at St. Andrews Country Club in West Chicago.  National expert Ron Jones will speak on how he and his team have continually “raised the bar” for green building and sustainable practices in their own market and beyond.  Ron is the Editorial Director of Green Builder Magazine and founder of Green Builder Services.  Please see the flyer for more details and to register. 

HomeAid Cares Days 

Join HomeAid Chicago as we start down the home stretch on the MorningStar Mission Women and Family Recovery Center project in Joliet, IL. We need volunteers to assist us in touch-up painting, cleaning, and organizing in preparation for the opening in July. Lake County Tour of Homes/McHenry County Medley of Homes 

Running three weekends - April 27, 28, 29 • May 4, 5, 6 • May 11, 12, 13 - the 2007 Medley of Homes and Tour of Homes is a scattered site showcase of homes in McHenry and Lake Counties, Northern Cook County, and Southern Wisconsin communities featuring homes for sale in every price range.  All models will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  View the flyer for a complete listing of homes or contact Rita Unzner for more information. 

Colin McRae Retirement 

Please join us on Wednesday, May 2nd as we say a fond farewell to Colin McRae upon his retirement from the Attainable Housing Alliance.  In conjunction with NIHBA and HBAGFV, we will be hosting a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception from 5 until 7:30 p.m. at Medinah Banquets in Addison.  RSVP by April 25th to Jennifer Gorra. 

Remodel Chicagoland™ Tour of Remodeled Homes 

A scattered site tour of remodeled or renovated single family homes presented by the Remodelors Council™ of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, this Tour highlights dynamic and significant home renovations in the greater metropolitan Chicago area.  The tour is open to the public May 5th and 6th from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. each day.  Visit the website for more information.
