A big "thank you" to everyone who joined us at our recent City of Chicago and McHenry County Chapter golf outings. The weather was hot and we had some rain but a great time was had by all. There's still time to register for the Lake and McHenry County Boat Trip  at Lake Geneva Country Club on August 3rd or the Lake County Chapter golf outing  on August 10th at White Deer Run.

City of Chicago Chapter Summer Boat Cruise—August 1st

It's not too late to enjoy some Summer in the City. Please join the City of Chicago Chapter on Tuesday, August 1st for their summer boat cruise departing from NAVY PIER promptly at 6:30 p.m. Come sail with us aboard The Evening Star Sponsored by Lincoln Park Financial Group, LLC. The boat departs promptly at 6:30 pm—returns at 9:30 pm. Dinner catered by Blue Plate. Open bar. Musical entertainment. Register online at our website.

Please be aware that this year's boat cruise will depart from Navy Pier, not North Pier as in previous years. The celebration dock is to the south of the main entrance to Navy Pier. Look for the big red dot.

Young Builders Council Scott Brown Memorial Scholarship

Do you know a student or an individual furthering his/her education in construction management, administration, and or technology related to residential home building? The Young Builders Council has extended the deadline for their annual Scott Brown Memorial Scholarship to September 19th. Each year, up to three applicants are chosen to receive a $1500 scholarship. The winners of the 2006 scholarships will be honored at the HBAGC Inaugural Ball in January. Please click here for an application or call Lisa Henning at 630-627-7575 for more information. This year, the Council will also host a fundraiser for the scholarship on September 15th at Hi-Tops in Wrigleyville.

Just log in with your member ID number (password), search our calendar of events for the event you want to attend, click the 'register for this event' link and your registration form will be pre-populated with all your information. You'll receive an email confirmation of your registration and payment and you're all set. Don't know your member ID number? Click the "forgot login" link to have it emailed to you.
