After this last weekend of beautiful weather it is truly beginning to feel like summer. Of course in our industry summer means building, building and more building, and the Association has some building projects of its own in progress for the 2006 Parade of Homes in Sugar Grove. We invite you to join us tomorrow (Tuesday, June 6th) for the official groundbreaking on the parade site located within the 1300 acre Kimball Hill community, Settlers Ridge. Eight builder members will be participating this year with custom homes. The ceremony begins at 9 a.m. followed by a reception. (For a map of the community or more community information, please visit www.settlersridgeil.com).

We also welcome member participation in our monthly magazine, and the issue we are working on now provides a great opportunity to get started! July's issue will highlight business management and cost saving strategies. Do you have a quick tip on efficiency increasing/expense lowering systems, strategies, or technology that our members may be able to implement in their own businesses? Please send them to lhenning@hbagc.com by July 12th for consideration.

Our Association's cost saving strategy tip: take advantage of the Building America's Dream Member Spotlight feature drawing. All members are eligible to submit an article about themselves/their company/their products and their picture in the monthly drawing to be printed in Building America's Dream. What a great opportunity for the members to learn more about your business at no expense! Send your article to kathyc@hbagc.com to be officially entered.

Thank you for reading this week's highlights.
