I'd like to thank everyone who sponsored, exhibited in, volunteered for and attended our 4th Annual Midwest Builders Show & Conference. We are most proud of what we have established in Chicago and the intrinsic benefits that our industry will hopefully derive for years to come from this event. We are grateful for your commitment to our Association and sincerely appreciate your participation. All together, several thousand individuals attended and participated in the activities and events incorporated in this year's Midwest Builders Show and Conference and we are already hard at work on plans for 2007.
I am pleased to announce that Andrea Brady will be joining the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago as the City of Chicago Chapter Director on Wednesday, April 5th. Andrea comes to us from the American Massage Therapy Association where she has spent the last 6 years, most recently overseeing all aspects of a chapter relations program including operations, communications, marketing, budgeting, planning, recruitment and training. She developed leadership training programs for chapter board members and volunteers representing 52 chapters in the areas of board and volunteer development, risk management, financial obligations, networking and mentoring. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Illinois University. We are very excited to welcome Andrea to the HBAGC staff and hope you will all have the opportunity to meet her soon.
