HBAGC recognizes the importance of continuing education and providing the required resources to do so for its members. The NAHB University of Housing has named February its 3rd annual National Designation Month. National Designation Month celebrates achievements, rewards accomplishments, emphasizes public awareness, and encourages education participants to complete requirements in NAHB's designation programs. These designations are designed to improve skills, provide career advancement, and recognize industry expertise and commitment to professional growth for the home building industry.

The 2006 theme is "Education That Sizzles." The Association will be offering a variety of classes in line with NAHB designation programs such as Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS) including Introduction to Business Management, Home Modifications and Working with Marketing to Active Adults. Start working on your designation now so you'll be ahead of the competition in the future. HBAGC will offer designation courses throughout the year so look for more information at our website, www.hbagc.com.
