Highlights from HBAGC

As our industry is going through change so is HBAGC. The face of some of our programming (such as combining of Key and SAMMY awards) is changing and some of the actual faces within the association office have changed. These “highlights” will be coming out bi-weekly instead of weekly so as to make them more topical and relevant.  Change, though sometimes uncomfortable, is inevitable.  As President, I want to reaffirm that as we make our way through this time your volunteer leadership and the association staff are constantly in contact and have a firm hold on the situation.

I believe these changes that we are enduring present a terrific opportunity for us.  There is a quote from Will Rogers that says “Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.” We now have the ability to take a close look at the products and services we provide to our membership and determine how we can improve upon them.  I am certain that the outcome will be a better organization.  If you have any questions as we move along, always feel free to contact myself at (312) 751-2777 Ext. 116 or Vice President Dan Ungerleider at (847) 984-4424.  Have a good week! In celebration of last week's Earth Day, HomeAid would like to remind you to recycle your used cell phones.  It's good for the environment and also helps HomeAid raise money. Drop off or send your old cell phones to HomeAid at 1841 W. Army Trail Road, Addison, IL 60101. Consider sponsoring a cell phone drive at your office building; email nashton@hbagc.com for details.
