The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago announced today the formation of a joint venture with San Antonio based show producer Show Technology Productions to produce two consumer Home and Garden shows in the Greater Chicago Area.

With over 2300 members, The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) is involved in all aspects of home building, remodeling, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing and other segments of residential construction. “We are very pleased that Show Technology has decided to partner with us,” said Peter Schwartz, CEO of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago-the largest home builders association in the greater Chicagoland area. “We are excited about their involvement and the expertise their 20-plus years of experience in this business will bring to the Show.  This partnership, combined with the strength of our membership and Association, will enhance the value of the show to exhibitors and attendees alike.”

Show Technology Productions, already a producer of Home and Garden events throughout the country, has been one of the premier producers of Home and Garden shows for over 20 years. “This valuable partnership is part of an expansion plan that has been in the works for several years now. We are very excited to bring our brand of Home and Garden Shows to the Greater Chicago market,” said Steven Pichichero, president of Show Technology Productions, in a statement.

Show Technology and the HBACG plan to produce two shows together in the Chicagoland area, to include the Midwest Home and Garden Show at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont January 25th-27th and the Chicago Home and Garden Show at the Schaumburg convention center in Schaumburg February 29th – March 2nd.
