Home Builders Installs Council Officers
The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) today announced the names of the officers installed to its councils. The Association installed the new officers at its recent inaugural ball.
There are six councils within the Association which are specialty groups focusing on issues relevant to their areas of expertise. The Custom Builders Council focuses on issues pertaining to those members whose primary business is the construction of custom homes with volume at 100 or fewer homes annually. The Multi-Family Housing Council represents the interests of members who work in the development and production of multi-family housing. The Production Builders Council addresses issues related to large volume builders. The Remodelors Council™ works to enlighten the public on the advantages of maintaining homes in good condition and on encouraging the ethical conduct and uniform practices among firms in the remodeling industry. The Sales and Marketing Council focuses on issues related to the sales and marketing of new homes. The Young Builders Council addresses the needs of those who are new to the industry.

Those installed are charged in the year ahead with furthering the objectives of the housing industry and working at all times in the best interest of their council of the Association according to their acceptance of the office.
The HBAGC is a Chicagoland association and covers the counties of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will. Officers' terms become effective immediately and remain in place for one year.
