Midwest Builders Show Announces Educational Opportunities at Second Annual Show
(LOMBARD, IL) – The Midwest Builders Show announced today the wide variety of educational programs that will be available to attendees of the 2004 Midwest Builders Show scheduled for March 25th-26th, 2004 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Educational seminars are featured on both tradeshow days as well as the two days preceding the Show, March 23rd and 24th.
Like last year, topics will include subjects such as business planning, scheduling, customer service, design, sales and marketing, financial management and profitability, land development, and more. Attendees have the opportunity of taking advantage of a full array of educational seminars which are geared towards production builders, small volume and custom builders, remodelors, sub-contractors, suppliers, tradesmen, salespeople and others working in the housing industry. Some of the titles include:

"Through the educational programs offered at the Midwest Builders Show, we are committed to providing opportunities for people in the housing industry to broaden their knowledge with up-to-date information so they can take their new-found knowledge and make better decisions in business," said Peter Schwartz, CEO, Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC), the organization that is the principle owner of the Show. "The educational programs offered are not only beneficial but also convenient for those in the industry to improve their skills."
In addition, attendees also can participate in certification programs from the NAHB Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM) and the NAHB’s Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Graduate Remodelor (CGR) programs.
Attendees who are part of their home builders association’s Sales & Marketing Council (SMC), can sign up for the Sales & Marketing Passport, a special $75.00 package for SMC professionals. The package includes educational seminars, the 2nd Annual Super Sales Rally featuring top industry names, entry to the tradeshow floor and keynote speaker sessions featuring Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka and Rick Horrow, a sports-business lawyer, a luncheon, as well as many more activities.
The Midwest Builders Show also will feature the 2004 Market Forum, an annual panel discussion that focuses on the state of the housing industry. The panel will be made up of experts in real estate and housing trends, as well as economics. They will talk about the outlook for the home building industry in the upcoming year.
As stated earlier, the actual trade show is scheduled for March 25th-26th but educational programs are scheduled for four days, from March 23rd-26th. A regional tradeshow and conference, the Midwest Builders Show is drawing attendees from an eight-state region that includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin but is open to anyone affiliated with the home building industry.
